A Social Approach

Helping Veterans and Elders

A Social Approach was founded to help veterans and elders. Our purpose is to build relationships that will enrich lives through social interaction and activities. Our services are tailored to the specific needs of each person we visit. A Social Approach is not just a service provider, it means friendship.

Who We Serve

A Social Approach serves individuals experiencing:

  • Brain Injury
  • Altzheimer’s
  • Dementia
  • Schizophrenia
  • PTSD
  • Physical impairments

How It Works

We work with families and guardians to provide a social connection to protected persons. Together we plan a schedule of social visitation and accompany protected persons to appointments and on social trips, making sure that they are safe and comfortable, as well as ensuring the accurate transfer of information.

At the end of each trip we create a written summary of the interaction, providing a brief assessment of the current state of the client, as well as the details of the specific trip.
